HETAS H010 Stove Installation in Small Craft

With over 30,000 licensed boats on the inland waterways, a wide number are using renewable fuel sources to heat the habitable accommodation on board. HETAS has seen a rise in enquiries received regarding the effective design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of stoves on boats.

Course Suitability and Pre-requisites:

• HETAS registered installers who wish to extend their scope and knowledge. Installers must hold a current H003 & H006 (On successful completion of the course you will be awarded an extension of scope under your competencies under the terms and conditions of HETAS Competent Persons Scheme).
• Candidates with a marine industry background who wish to undertake training to install solid fuel dry appliances in Small Craft (on successful completion of the course you will be awarded a HETAS certificate of attendance).
