This 1 day course is designed for individuals who need to practice Safe Isolation and covers Regulations 3, 12, 13, 14 and 16 Electricity at Work Regulations 1989. The course combines both practical and theory based exams and learning practices.
This 1 day course is designed for Plumbing and Heating Engineers or similar who need to practice Safe Isolation and covers Regulations 3, 12, 13, 14 and 16 Electricity at Work Regulations 1989. The course combines both practical and theory based exams and learning practices. The course has a 5 year expiration date.
Course objectives:
- Enable candidates to meet the requirements of the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989
Certification:
- The course is certified by BPEC and will prove an understanding of the safe isolation process.
Pre Requisites:
Formal craft qualification e.g. National or Scottish Vocational Qualification (NVQ/SVQ) Level 2 or 3 in heating engineering or plumbing or electrical trades, or working towards a course in heating engineering or plumbing which will lead to a formal qualification, such as NVQ Level 2 or 3 heating and ventilation or plumbing or electrical installations, or have a number of years’ experience of conventional heating engineering or plumbing and electrical installations.
