BPEC Ground Source Heat Pump Systems Course (NOS Mapped) Level 3

This 1 Day BPEC Level 3 Award Ground Source Heat Pump Systems course gives installers the skills and knowledge required to correctly design, install and maintain Heat Pump systems.

This BPEC Heat Pump Systems Course is recognised as a demonstration of competence for the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) including both the Installation and Design aspects.

Heat pumps convert the solar energy which is absorbed by the ground and are effective even in colder conditions. By using electrical power to convert the solar energy into practical heat for homes and businesses, heat pumps are capable of achieving over 400% energy efficiency if installed correctly.

Candidates must have first completed the BPEC Level 3 Award Air Source Heat Pump Systems Course.

BPEC Trainees should have a minimum NVQ Level 2/3 qualification in plumbing or heating engineering (Gas Safe or OFTEC), or a demonstrable number of years of relevant experience, plus Water Regulations & Unvented Hot Water Storage Systems (G3) certificates.
