Opportunity for Heat Pump Installation in New Builds
May 13, 2024The majority of our blogs focus on what is going on in the external environment, however today we take a look at what is going on internally at GRE and why you should choose us as your training provider.
As I am sure many of you know by now, we offer specialist training in renewable energy, amongst others such as HETAS training. We have made some changes recently, which in turn will make for a better training experience for you. In today’s blog, we explore these recent changes in depth.
Appointment of New Staff Roles:
The first is the appointment of Lindsey and Dean as Directors of the company, in addition to Steve (our founder.) Lindsey and Dean have both been with us for 13 years, and both bring different expertise to the role. Lindsey has been the head of finance and Dean has been a technical trainer for plumbing and heating, as well as F-gas, courses. As we continue to grow, this newly appointed board of directors will help the company flourish and allow us to keep delivering renewable energy training to the highest possible standard.
Changes To The Academy:
We are always looking to take on feedback and improve our training facilities for our candidates. In light of this, several of our classrooms have recently undergone transformations, and new rigs have been fitted to deliver practical working examples to candidates undertaking courses. This can be seen in both of our electrical and solar PV classrooms, which now have a more complete rig set up.
Increased Course Capacity:
The uptake in HETAS demand has resulted in us increasing course capacity, on H003Ds and H003R courses, by appointing two new assessors to assist Keith with the examination process. Ash and Elliot are delighted to join the HETAS side of operations, which they are now doing alongside their electrical training. This means we can now accommodate up to 8 candidates on our H003DS & H003R courses.
New Partnerships:
We are delighted to announce several new partnerships with local merchants and suppliers. These include Amco Renewables, Switch Electrical Supplies, and Town & country Merchants. You can now book our courses through these merchants if you are ever in store. As a side note, we have also expanded our client base for off site training, and in April our founder Steve delivered a PV sales course for Octopus Energy in Brighton, further helping with their internal staff training.
The above is just a taste of what is currently going on behind the scenes at GRE, and we are excited to reveal more in the coming weeks. To view our extensive list of renewable energy courses, click here.
