Let’s Talk About Net Zero
March 21, 2024
Commercial Application of Renewable Energy
April 8, 2024In our previous blog, we took a more in depth look at net zero, and what it meant for consumers and installers of alternative renewable energy. Continuing on from this, it was revealed on Thursday, 28th March, that the UK had reached the half way point on its journey to net zero, with emissions being cut 53% between 1990 and 2023 (Gov, 2024.) Therefore, making the UK the ‘first major economy’ to ‘half emissions’ (Gov, 2024.) It is also important to note that this has been achieved cautiously, and whilst boosting the economy, which reflects the effectiveness of alternative renewable energies, such as heat pumps and solar PV.
As we have emphasised previously, we are doing our bit at GRE to ensure people are correctly trained in the installation of renewable technology, and are committed in helping you take advantage of the current landscape, whilst of course contributing to achieving net zero.
