What are the Benefits of Solid Fuel Appliances?
October 16, 2023New Heat Pump Proposal for Low Income Households
November 13, 2023In a previous blog, we discussed the potential for market growth in the sector, with ‘Solar PV expected to reach 43 GW by 2028’. In today’s newsletter, we check back in on this – spoiler alert, the outlook is even better than previously thought.
Aurora Energy Research has recently stated that “solar power is set to become the largest source of power generation globally by 2027 and to account for 65% of worldwide renewable capacity growth in 2023″ (MAISCH, 2023.) This growth, has been skyrocketed by ‘falling prices of solar pv modules,’ (MAISCH, 2023) which we have seen particularly here in the UK, and by 2023 it is expected that solar installations will grow by 56% year on year.
This can be seen in the sheer amount of solar pv installations that have taken place over the past 12 months, with 138,336 solar pv installations being registered since December, up from 137,926 in 2022.
In addition to this, customer awareness of the technology is at an all time high, meaning solar has never been easier to market and sell. If solar pv is not yet on your radar, it is time to put it there.
