This 2 Day BPEC Heat Pump Qualification Renewal Training Course is designed for experienced installers looking to renew their expired Heat Pump Qualification.
The BPEC Heat Pump Systems NOS Mapped Qualification is recognised as a demonstration of competence for the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS)
Day 1 Training Covers;
Heat Pumps in context, basic principles and components.
Industry Updates and changes to the MCS.
Reminder of Heat Losses and the effect of heating system design.
Domestic hot water, buffer tanks and solar coils.
Ground heat exchangers, principles and design.
Health and Safety.
Heat Pump Installation and Sizing.
Maintenance and fault finding.
Day 2 Assessments;
Two multiple choice question papers, 60 questions, 2 Hours duration each.
One written design paper including calculations.
Practical including fault finding.
To attend this course BPEC Trainees must hold a combined QCF/Mapped, Air and Ground source Heat Pump Qualification (LOGIC or BPEC).
You must also hold current and in date:
- Water Regulations (WRAS)/Byelaws.
- Unvented Hot Water G3.
- Energy Efficiency Part L.
- 23rd to 24th November.
- 25th to 26th February.
