This course provides experienced plumbing and heating engineers with the practical and theoretical knowledge required to effectively install and maintain biomass based heating systems and to assist in gaining Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) accreditation for this technology.
N/SVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing; or Heating and Ventilating (Domestic Installation); or Heating and Ventilating (Industrial and Commercial Installation); or Oil-Fired Technical Services; or Gas Installation and Maintenance; or equivalent earlier qualifications; or demonstrable relevant work experience of at least 3 years.
