City & Guilds accredited training course for electricians, technicians and installers to display knowledge of the IET Wiring Regulations 18th Edition. The 18th Edition Wiring Regulations come into force in January 2019.
The full three day course will cover;-
Scope, object and fundamental principles of BS7671:2018.
Electrical definitions.
Assessment of general characteristics.
Requirements of protection for electrical safety.
Selection and erection of equipment.
Electrical inspection and testing.
Special installations or locations.
Use of the information within BS7671:2018 appendices.
Energy efficiency.
Protection against fire – installation of arc fault detection devices (AFDDs).
Protection against transient over voltage.
There will be a two hour online multi-choice exam which you will take on the 3rd day of the course and will give you instant pass/fail results.
